The Bayou Lafourche Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha Indians is a sovereign nation governed by the laws and principles established in our Constitution and Bylaws. Our government is founded on the sacred duty to "Establish justice, insure tranquility, promote and protect the peace, health, morals, education, common welfare, economic well-being, and to secure to ourselves the blessings of freedom".
